An out-of-work actor becomes a successful female soap opera star in cognito, and falls in love with his co-star who however loves his female persona.
Cross-dressing comedy not as sharp or as entertaining as Some Like It hot, nor exploiting the comic or dramatic possibilities of its scenario as much as it should, but an excellent showcase for its star, for whom the main character seems quite representative.
