In 1937 a brother and sister visiting Cornwall buy a house with a tormented local family secret.
Spooky and commendably uninhibited ghost story, less effective when attempting to add romantic comedy (although its incidental love theme Stella by Starlight became a hit in its own right), with a reasonable Hollywood reconstruction of Cornwall.
