A disparate group of filmmakers try to make movies in the shadow of the patent film companies.
Manically driven tribute to the early cinema days, nice in concept with a powerful tribute to Griffith's The Birth of a Nation, but the elements lack a certain key chemistry, and all those concerned have done better in other films.
