Former lovers are teamed up to defend a terrorist suspect who is secretly a member of MI5.
Convincing in its depiction of surveillance-obsessed modern Britain, this initially promising modern thriller with a pleasing nod to 1970s paranoia thrillers (like All the President's Men, qv) jettisons most of its interesting plot half-way through, with a strong cast slightly underused, and the romantic leads are rather cold.
