Dec 18th
Tron Legacy** (PG)
Cineworld Haymarket

Sam Flynn searches for his father, who has re-entered "The Grid" but is trapped fighting his own cyber alter ego.
Self-celebratory sequel, every bit as preposterous as the original but just as engaging as an adventure, and a little easier on the eye than first time round (with or without 3-D.)

d: Joseph Kosinski
s: Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, James Frain, Bruce Boxleitner, Beau Garrett, Michael Sheen

Really looking forward to seeing this after Xmas (in IMAX-3D) as a holiday treat!

Hope you had a nice time in London with the gang. :)

We saw "Tron: Legacy" today. I enjoyed it a great deal, although I felt it was a bit to drawn out in the middle section. Special effects were excellent: the light cycle and disc game sequences were thrilling, and Digital Domain did some amazing work on the Clu's face. Top soundtrack as well. An enjoyable and worthwhile sequel (thankfully not just a "re-boot"), shame it took 28 years! There is a spin of animated TV series in the works.
