Unashamedly entertaining kinetic blockbuster with an ingenious premise, minimal character development but maximum excitement value, and for good measure finishes with a bonus death-defying train ride just when it seems the bomb-on-a-bus routine has run its course.

I saw this at the Barking Odeon cinema (now sadly demolished) with Kerry-Anne on its original release in the summer of '94. I recall that we both really enjoyed the film - a fun and exciting film. I should pick up the DVD.
"Speed 2: Cruise Control" was on earlier this evening - I spotted the bit where Willem Dafoe throws the captain off his ship! ...then I carried on channel hopping.
